Here's how you need to plan to study in France?

Here's how you need to plan to study in France?

1. Choosing the right program

This is the first and important task  that you need to do to study in France or any other country in the world. You should first find the program that you are interested to pursue your career on.

Check the following links to find the list of universities in France:

2. Make the  list of colleges/universities :

The second thing to do is to sort out the colleges or universities that you are interested to.

You can sort out the colleges/universities considering the following things:

Tuition fees:

The tuition fee depends upon the college and universities. The private colleges are expensive in comparison to universities.

So, I advise you to research and consult the websites of public universities for the course they are providing for International students.

Location:

If you are looking to do a part-time job during your study in France, I highly recommend you to check the location, where the college/university is situated.

It is difficult to get part-time job in small cities. So, if you are looking forward to doing part-time job during your study, please carefully choose the university or colleges.

Student Housing:

Remember to check the housing facilities with your college/university. It is one of the difficult things to arrange for most of the international students.

3. Contact colleges/universities:

Once you have listed and made your mind about the college or university that you want to join for your higher study, then it is time to write about your interest to them to study in their university.

Start contacting them! You can get more details about the program and the admission procedure, which is far better than relying upon the education consultancies.

4. Housing Plan:

Once you have the confirmation letter of your admission from the college or university, the next important thing to consider is your housing. Most of the public universities in France provides housing facilities to International students at affordable price.

Please do not forget to discuss housing facilities with your university. They will provide you with the contact address of the offices that will manage the housing for students.

CROUS-

It is the office, where you will have to contact the student housing. It exists in almost all cities, where there are universities and colleges.  They do have a separate department for international students. Go and check their sites.

5. Time to arrange other documents:

If you have obtained the admission letter from your preferred college or university and have found the housing, then half of your task is done.

Then it is time to arrange your other documents for the visa application process.

You will need to prepare :

  • Motivation Letter
  • Translate your document (Birth Certificate)
  • Arrange your academic documents
  • Prepare your financial proof

6. Language:

I highly recommend you to learn basic French before you go to study in France.

You might wonder that you will be studying in English. Learning basic French will help you a lot and make your daily life a lot easier.

Whether it be to find a part-time job or to get in contact with French people- it is a wise option to learn French.

Conclusion:

This is how you basically plan before applying for the student visa in France. I recommend every student to do research before going to consultancies.
